The unexpected happened in Pertir Village, Sokaraja, Banyumas. A widow named Supriyatin (43 years) had the heart to kill her own uncle named Hudi (70 years) because the uncle killed her cat.
Supriyatin killed the victim with a piece of bamboo by hitting the victim firmly on the head. After the victim fell, Supriyatin wrapped the victim's body in plastic. When it was wrapped, it turned out that the uncle was still alive, but Supriyatin continued the wrapping and threw the package containing his uncle into the river until finally the uncle really died.
Families who feel lost finally try to find victims. Finally, the victim's body was found by a sand miner floating on the Serayu Maos River, Cilacap. The body was then taken by the police for an autopsy.
After an autopsy was carried out, it was found that the perpetrator died from drowning. However, there was a wound in the head area which caused him to faint first before being thrown into the river. As a result the police concluded that this was an act of murder.
After carrying out an investigation, the police were finally able to arrest the perpetrator, who was none other than Supriyatin, the victim's own nephew. Supriyatin himself was kept in a restaurant in the Bendung Gerak area, Serayu Banyumas.
The results of the examination of the perpetrator revealed a trivial motive, namely because the perpetrator was annoyed that his uncle had killed his beloved cat. According to the perpetrator, the uncle also tried to rape her several times because she was a widow. However, for the second reason the police did not immediately believe it and are still conducting further investigations.
As a result of his sadistic actions, now the perpetrator must be behind bars to be responsible for the behavior of taking lives. The perpetrator was charged with article 378 of the Criminal Code which carries a penalty of 20 years in prison.
Cats are cute and adorable animals, but that doesn't mean we can kill someone just because that person killed a cat.
